Lost and Found: A Quest for Math and Hamsters
Walking into Walmart to work. I have a math book and pencil bag in on arm and a pet hamster in the other arm. I lightly browse the shelves on the way to the back of the store. When I get to the break room and realize I don’t have the math book and pencil bag anymore. I leave Jenny the hamster in the break room and go back out on the floor to find the book and bag. I find the pencil bag on a shelf, and someone has gone through it but it’s intact. NowI can’t find the hamster and I am devastated. Kevin and Phillip help me look, but they’re both annoyed. I find the math book while looking for the hamster. I eventually find a hamster in the employee lockers and I decide that this is Jenny, though I keep thinking how she doesn’t look quite the same.
